Returns

Returns Policy

  • To return goods for any reason please call or e-mail our customer services department who will give you a returns authorisation number relating to the purpose of the return to be displayed on the parcel.
  • Goods without a returns authorisation no. will not be accepted.
  • Goods returned must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
  • Goods must be returned at the expense of the consumer by registered means or we can arrange collection of the goods for which carriage will be charged to the consumer.
  • If you return Products by post, please ensure you package and label them properly so that they are not lost or damaged in transit. We recommend you retain some proof of postage with adequete insurance in the event that the Products go missing, as Products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them.
  • The cost of carriage C S North East have incurred for sending the goods to the consumer will also be deducted from the refund. This includes all orders that were originally sent carriage free.
  • Goods returned for reasons relating to a fault will be returned to the consumer at the cost of C S North East as long as they conform to the relevant criteria (see warranty).

Faulty Goods

  • Any damages, faults or shortages must be notified within 7 days of receipt. (See returns policy).
  • C S North East cannot accept responsibility after this period.
  • Faulty or damaged goods will be replaced or refunded in full in accordance with the consumer's requirements.
  • C S North East will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electricians fees, time taken from place of employment, fuel consumption etc.

Refunds

  • All products carry a 7-day money back policy (see returns policy above). This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification.
  • The fixture must not have been installed or modified in any way and must be returned in its original packaging complete with any bulbs and any other parts supplied. (See returns policy).
  • We have the right to refuse refunds for failure to meet the above criteria.

Warranty

  • All products carry a 1 year return to base warranty. (See returns policy)
  • In the event of a fault occurring the product will be repaired or replaced according to the nature of the fault.
  • The warranty applies to electrical components only and is void if deemed that the fitting has been incorrectly fitted or suffered abuse in a manner not intended for the purpose supplied.
